About me
I am a registered Industrial Psychologist with the HPCSA, with over two decades of experience primarily rooted in fast-paced corporate environments. I bring deep insight into the complexities of modern work life - its pressures, transitions, and psychological demands. My career has been grounded in supporting individuals and organisations through change, growth, and challenge, and now I’m bringing that experience into private practice.
Beyond my professional experience, my personal journey has profoundly shaped how I connect with and support clients. As a mother of two sons who are neurodivergent, I have gained invaluable insight into the unique ways individuals experience the world. My sons' journey with dyslexia has taught me the importance of recognising diverse learning styles and strengths. It has reinforced my belief that every person has their own remarkable potential, and that with understanding, tailored support, and patience, they can thrive and excel in this world.
In 2016, my life took an unexpected turn when I suddenly and permanently lost hearing in my right ear. This traumatic and deeply personal experience has opened my eyes to the invisible challenges of living with a sensory disability. It has also strengthened my capacity for compassion and heightened my sensitivity to how grief, loss, and sudden change can affect identity and daily functioning.
Whether supporting someone through burnout, career crossroads, or simply helping them find steadiness in life’s chaos, I approach each client with care, curiosity, and deep respect for their lived experience.
I take a human-centred, integrative approach to therapy - one that honours the whole person rather than just the problem. My practice is informed by:
Multi-Level Neuro Processing (MLNP): a gentle, neuroscience-based method that supports emotional regulation and integration of past experiences, particularly helpful in managing stress, burnout, anxiety, trauma, and unresolved emotional patterns.
Industrial Psychology Foundations: I understand how organisational systems, leadership dynamics, and workplace cultures influence mental health. This lens helps me support professionals navigating performance pressure, career transitions, leadership challenges, or workplace trauma.
Empathy & Psychological Safety: Clients frequently describe me as approachable, attentive, and genuinely supportive. My intention is to foster a safe and welcoming environment where you feel acknowledged, understood, and encouraged to explore your journey of growth at a comfortable pace.
My work is especially suited to adults navigating:
⚪ Work-related stress, burnout or trauma
⚪ Personal growth and resilience building
⚪ Career uncertainty, transitions, restructure or retrenchment
⚪ Emotional patterns that may make you feel ‘stuck’ or overwhelmed
⚪ High-performance or leadership fatigue
⚪ Parents, caregivers, or professionals who are trying to balance competing demands and feel disconnected from themselves in the process.
